Beans on Toast

British beans on toast

Ingredients:

Preparation instructions:

  1. Put the bread into the toaster and set to a low-to-medium height.
  2. Empty the content of the tin of beans into a microwaveable bowl and cook in the microwave for 2m40s.
  3. As soon as the toast pops from the toaster, spread the butter evenly among the two pieces.
  4. The cooked beans can then be poured over the top of the buttered toast.
  5. Lastly, pour the brown sauce over the beans on toast to suit your preference.
  6. Enjoy!

Ham Sandwiches

Picnic perfect sandwiches

Ingredients:

Preparation instructions:

  1. Butter on one side the pieces of bread.
  2. Separate the ham pieces into 8 handfuls, one for each sandwich to be made.
  3. Cut the cherry tomatoes into half and slice the cucumber into pieces that are half a centimeter thick.
  4. Place the salad evenly on half of the buttered slices of bread. Likewise, apply the ham in the same way.
  5. Complete the sandwich by placing the unloaded piece of bread on top of the salad and ham. Cut diagonally for the perfect picnic sandwiches.

To add some tang, or pep up a meal, splash a dash of Lea & Perrins worcestershire sauce. Particular favourites include splish and chips, or bangers and splash.
